Orbit Manufacturing Suite is a cloud-based ERP built on Oracle APEX and Oracle Database 23AI to automate and optimize manufacturing operations.
It integrates production, inventory, procurement, quality, HR, and finance into a unified platform.
The system ensures operational efficiency, cost control, and full traceability from raw material to finished goods.
Ideal for textiles, food, engineering, plastics, chemicals, and general manufacturing industries.

Product Master Setup
This is the foundation of the entire ERP process. It ensures each material and product is uniquely identified, categorized, and traceable throughout the system.
Key Activities:
- Define Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), Semi-Finished Goods (SFG), and Finished Goods (FG).
- Create Product Categories, Strengths, Dosage Forms (Tablet, Syrup, Injection, etc.).
- Maintain Item Specifications (potency, assay, moisture, density, etc.).
- Link products with DRAP registration numbers, shelf life, and expiry control.
- Define Batch Size, Standard Yield, and UOM (Units of Measure).

- Centralized Product Database with full regulatory and formulation mapping.

Bill of Materials & Recipe Management
Every product batch is manufactured based on a pre-defined BOM, ensuring consistency and traceability.
Key Activities:
- Define Standard BOMs for each product and batch size.
- Link each material with its required quantity, loss percentage, and stage (Dispensing / Granulation / Compression / Coating).
- Maintain Process Instructions and Machine Requirements per stage.
- Auto-version control for BOM revisions.

- Accurate material planning and process documentation per DRAP/GMP standards.

Material Planning & Procurement
The system ensures timely availability of raw and packaging materials while maintaining compliance and cost control.
Key Activities:
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Auto-calculate material needs based on pending batch plans and minimum stock levels.
- Generate Purchase Requests → Comparative Statements → Purchase Orders (POs).
- Supplier rating based on quality, price, and lead time.
- Integration with Accounts Payable for supplier payment tracking.

- Controlled procurement workflow ensuring traceable vendor interactions and budget alignment.

Goods Receipt & Quality Control (GRN + QC)
All incoming materials pass through quality checks before being approved for production.
Key Activities:
- Record Goods Receipt Note (GRN) against POs.
- Auto-generate QC samples and tests (appearance, assay, moisture, etc.).
- Quarantine materials until QC approval.
- QC Results Entry → Approval/Rejection → Update Stock Status.
System Outcome:
- Full traceability from supplier to approved material batch.
- Only QC-approved materials can be used in manufacturing.

Batch Production & Manufacturing Execution
The heart of the system — this module handles full BMR (Batch Manufacturing Record) tracking and WIP (Work-in-Progress) management.
Key Activities:
- Create Batch Manufacturing Orders (BMO) or Batch Cards.
- System issues materials to production based on BOM (via Material Issue Notes).
- Stage-wise production tracking (Dispensing → Mixing → Granulation → Drying → Compression → Coating → Packing).
- Record yield, wastage, deviation logs, and machine usage.
- Auto-calculate Batch Costing (RM + PM + Overheads).
